11 in a row, with 1000th senior match appearance. Cr7 is still on fire

There’s absolutely no doubt that Cristiano Ronaldo will be remembered as one of the greatest footballers of all time. For some football fans, he *is* the greatest player ever.

Ronaldo is a five-time Ballon d’Or winner and has won major titles with three different clubs in three of Europe’s top leagues.

He will forever be a Manchester United and a Real Madrid legend.

The Portuguese superstar is also on course to cement his status as a Juventus legend.

Ronaldo won a Serie A title in his debut season with the Italian giants, scoring 28 goals in 43 games in all competitions in the process.

And the 35-year-old now has a remarkable 25 goals in 30 games for the Old Lady this season – and we’re not even in March yet.

Saturday’s clash between Juventus and SPAL at the Stadio Paolo Mazza was the 1000th senior match of Ronaldo’s illustrious career. And, of course, the veteran forward scored.

That goal also meant that Ronaldo equalled a Serie A record, currently held by Gabriel Batistuta and Fabio Quagliarella.

Ronaldo has scored in 11 consecutive Serie A matches, which only the two aforementioned players have managed before.

Juve take on Inter in their next Serie A fixture, on March 1, and you certainly wouldn’t bet against Ronaldo breaking that record at the Allianz Stadium.

In fact, it would be a bigger shock if he didn’t. The man is a machine.

Ronaldo very nearly ended his 1000th game with a trademark free-kick, but his brilliant effort came back off the crossbar… Still, this will go down as another day in Ronaldo’s incredible career that he’ll never forget.
