Real Madrid booked a place in the Champions League round of 16 as a 2-0 win against Roma confirmed top spot in
Group G. The Los Blancos took a 47th-minute lead through Gareth Bale, who capitalised on Federico Fazio's mistake.
The lead came after Cengiz Under's woeful miss at the end of the first half and Real doubled their lead Lucas
Vazquez’ goal to secure top spot in the group.
Despite loosing to Real Madrid, they still in the game
Bayern Munich dislodged Benfica with a 5-1 scoreline to stay top of Group E and secure their place in the knockout
stages. Arjen Robben’s brace, Robert Lewandowski’s brace and Franck Ribery’s finish ensured Benfica was properly
